The Amount of Water Given To a Lima Bean Affects It's Height

Introduction:  In this experiment, we grew lima beans. We watered one plant with 10 milliliters of water, another with 30 milliliters of water, and the last with 50 milliliters of water. Our hypothesis was "the amount of water affects the height of a lima bean." Our hypothesis was (add info here) . In this experiment, we wanted to test if the amount of water that you water a lima bean plant with affects the height of that plant because we want to know how you can grow a lima bean plant as tall as possible.

Ammount of Water Dylan's Avarage Final Height Jessica's Avarage Final Height Savannah's Avarage Final Height Avarage Height of All the Plants
10 ml of water 23 cm 24 cm 25.5cm 24.2 cm
30 ml of water 21 cm 25 cm 38cm 28 cm
50 ml of water 18.5 cm 27 cm 29.5cm 25 cm

Lessons Learned:

  • 10 ml of water grows the tallest and fastest.
  • If you want to grow your plants the tallest, water them with 10 ml of water.
