Testing Raphanus Sativus Growth by Changing the Amount of Water They are Given
Written by: Clementine, Martin, and Graham 6H
Our group's hypothesis is "Different amounts of water affect height of Raphanus Sativus." To test this we put 2 radish seeds in four pots and watered them each different amounts of water (0 ml, 25 ml, 50 ml, and 100 ml). Then each week for 4 weeks we measured how tall the average height of each of the pot's plants were. Our hypothesis was supported.
METHODS
Materials:
- 4 Dandelion seeds
- 4 Radish seeds
- 1200ml of tap water
- 0.8ml of dirt (Miracle Grow)
- 4 ziploc containers Volume= 660cm
- 1 Pyrex measuring cup
- 1 30cm ruler
Procedure:
- Gather supplies
- Put 0.2 liters of dirt into each container
- Put 2 dandelion seeds in each 2 containers
- Put 2 radish seeds in each 2 containers
- Water one dandelion container with 50ml every wednesday
- Water one dandelion container with 100ml every wednesday
- Water one radish container with 50ml every wednesday
- Water one radish container with 100ml every wednesday
- Record data
- Take photographs

Lessons Learned:
- That 50 ml is the best amount of water for radish seeds.
- You must water your plants for them to grow.
- Watering them too much kills them.

Nice Wiki! Add "the" to the hypothesis. I CAN SEE THE GRAPH!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!! You need to put the camera in the materials list.
